Jody L. Swanson, CPA (Retired)

After 32 years of dedicated service in public accounting, Jody L. Swanson, CPA, the founder of Swanson Hinsch & Co, Chartered CPA’s retired in December 2017.   Jody began practicing in public accounting in 1985 and in May of 1996, started J.L. Swanson Chartered, CPA’s.   Belynda Hinsch, CPA joined her in October 1999 and in January 2006, Jody welcomed Belynda as a fellow shareholder and renamed the practice Swanson Hinsch & Co, Chartered in November 2007.

Jody dedicated her professional career to public accounting, helping business and individual clients with income taxes, accounting,  planning, business management, litigation support and many other advisory services.    She led by example and taught everyone that worked with her the importance of outstanding customer service, creativity, exceptional procedures and documentation, and strong community service.   Jody instilled in her team that it was critical to, not only provide Swanson Hinsch clients with timely and accurate tax preparation service, but to become their trusted life advisors.

Belynda and her strong team at Swanson Hinsch & Co, Chartered are proud to continue those superior traditions and values. 

Jody’s retirement from public accounting has provided her and her husband, Kevin, and their two canine companions, with more time to enjoy each other’s company, as well as time for visiting their two adult sons, Matthew and Andrew, and their growing families.
